Since painting “Our Humble God” I have enjoyed visualising other events from the Gospels. I had often considered the passover as something to be painted but had always been put off by the fear of it being seen as too obvious a choice. I eventually concluded that it was worth the risk and that it would be good to produce another painting to sit alongside “Our Humble God.”
